Male Involvement Representatives
The SETA Head Start Male Involvement program continues to promote the role of men in the classroom. Men are selected at center parent meetings to serve as Male Involvement Representatives for their child's center. They are then trained on a monthly basis on community services to take back and share with other men in the program. |
At C.A.M.P. Meetings topics of training are discussed and planned pertaining to the interest of the men in the program.
Male Involvement Representatives are required to volunteer ten hours a month at their child's center and are reimbursed up to $40 per month to cover costs of transportation and childcare.
